Last week I delivered a wellbeing day for The Orwell Trust. That’s 300 Everyday Heroes in total!

I actually wanted to title the day “Wellbeing For Idiots (Myself Included)” because we all know what we could do to improve our physical and mental health but repeatedly struggle with actually doing it.

Here’s why it’s not about accessibility. It’s about mindset and the story you tell yourself.

On paper it makes no sense to push yourself until you drop, avoid taking breaks so that you can finish that last 6000 emails and live on a diet of Dorito’s and Curly Wurlies, and yet…

So forget wellbeing as a notion and try rebranding it as ‘Way of Being’. That gives you a chance to get off automatic and be more intentional about the micro-decisions you make during your day.

Here’s what happened when I magically gifted 300 people 30 minutes of time with all their responsibilities taken care of. The CEO had the best reaction I’ve ever experienced in a keynote!

Watch the video and let me know on LinkedIn what you would do with 30 minutes of free time to spend on yourself.
