Thanks so much Wimbledon High School GDST! It was such a treat to spend the day with your Everyday Heroes!
If you’ve already watched my TEDx Talk, “The Power of Everyday Heroes,” you’ll know that I owe everything I am today to the five teachers who changed my life. They taught me the profound impact of WITH-ness, and now I have the pleasure of sharing that message with teachers across the globe.
Educators will always have a special place in my heart, and that’s why educational events are so special. It’s so easy to get wrapped up in the demands of day-to-day work, but it’s important to take time to zoom out and recognise the impact that your work has on the lives of the children you work with.
I’d love for anyone who is part of the school family to recognise the lifelong impact they have and the legacy they leave, so they can stand in the truth about themselves.
