Telford International Centre – 650 Everyday Heroes and the Youth Sport Trust at their National Summit all about School Games.
For me team sports = belonging.
At school, it taught me the essence of what it means to be part of a family – connecting, supporting each other, picking ourselves up from setbacks, and leading not just others, but ourselves.
The energy of the event was amazing, with everyone truly committed to inclusivity.
It’s incredible to see how the Youth Sport Trust is pioneering this movement. If you haven’t come across their work yet, I urge you to check them out!
Thank you for having me and inviting me to speak to your Everyday Heroes. I’ll be supporting you all from the sidelines.
I’m back in Telford International Centre on the 4th November, come and say hi!
