When I ask people to raise their hand if they are a success in my keynotes the response is always stilted.
People hesitate, nervously glance around and then nudge their neighbour, “Go on Maureen, you put your hand up!”
This is your friendly reminder to take a moment and acknowledge your wins – no matter how small.
Our daughter recently finished her dissertation, and in her list of acknowledgements, she thanked her tutors, family, friends and then herself!
“Finally, I’d like to thank myself for staying committed and resilient and putting in the hard work!”
She is who I want to be when I grow up!
At just 20 years old, she’s mastered the art of standing in her own truth. Something that so many of us find so hard to do.
So here are your options:
a) Crack out the cheese and beetroot and make yourself a celebratory sandwich.
b) Be 10% braver and nominate yourself for the free space on my Mindset In Morocco Retreat.
c) Both of the above!
