I was over the moon and disappointed at the same time because the jackpot that week was £11 million, and Ed and I had already invested a considerable amount of time over lunch in Pizza Express, deciding what we would do with it.
I had convinced myself I would win the £11 million jackpot and excitedly shared my plans with Ed. I was going to text all my friends and ask them to respond with a figure – the total of all the money they owed from their mortgage, bills etc – within 24 hours!
