The New Year is often a time when we’re all thinking about making changes, but for organisations, it’s a constant conversation.
Last month, I was honoured to deliver keynotes for stand-out organisations—McCarthy Stone and Babble from the corporate sector, and Redbridge Education Partnership and Kirklees Council from the public sector.
From the initial conversations to shaping the delivery, we focused on one key question: What do you want people to say, do, think, and feel at the end of the event? And there was one thing all four organisations had in common—their desire to bring people along with them.
Change often starts with the visionaries at the top (which we absolutely need), but for it to be truly impactful, everyone needs to buy in—especially the incredible humans who turn those dreams into reality day in and day out. They’re the real MVPs of change, and they’re the ones who need to feel empowered.
That’s where I come in!
Here’s what Ashrina Parmar, Global Change Management Leader at APMG, had to say after my keynote:
“I recently had the privilege of hearing Jaz Ampaw-Farr speak, and our audience were really impressed. With her powerful storytelling, infectious energy, and deep authenticity, Jaz doesn’t just deliver a talk—she creates an experience. Her message of being ‘10% braver’ truly resonated, encouraging all of us to step outside our comfort zones.”
Let’s talk about that 10% braver thing for a sec. It’s not about having all the answers or being fearless. It’s about choosing purpose over fear, just for today.
BabbleFest was actually by the beach in Marbella, which is a great place to take you team if you want them to really buy into a sunny future! Special thanks to Jeremy Langley shared this corker on the impact of my keynote:
“Just wanted to put on record my thanks to one of the most stimulating, entertaining and moving speakers I have seen in a very long while… Her talk on being 10% Braver proved to be by far the most popular session of any company event I’ve ever been involved in. With a speaker rating of 4.97/5 from a hard-bitten Babble crowd you know she can hold an audience!”
(4.97/5 from a tough crowd? I’ll take that! 🎯)
Here’s the thing about change – what if all that chaos and complexity isn’t a problem? What if it’s actually where the magic happens? I’m not here with a magic wand, but I do know how to build bridges through the mayhem. Because the real question isn’t “How do we manage change?” It’s “How do we bring everyone along on the journey?”
Are you:
- Taking on a major transformation?
- Swimming in beautiful chaos right now?
- Looking for someone who can speak everyone’s language – from the boardroom to the breakroom?
Let’s chat about making your next event not just another talk, but a catalyst for real change. Because at the end of the day, it’s not about surviving change or even thriving through it – it’s about driving it.

P.S. Remember – you don’t have to drive the whole bus today. Just be 10% braver than yesterday. That’s where the magic starts! 🚀
My best
Jaz
