The ICC is one of my favourite venues to speak at.
It’s not just the fantastic stages and arena but the wonderful staff.
I’ve spoken at the ICC several times, and from security to catering to the tech crew, I’ve yet to find anyone without a smile on their face!
Not only that, but the front-of-house staff often remember me from event to event and come and say hello. One lady brought her friend to meet me she enjoyed my talk so much!
Backstage is an exciting place. I was lucky enough to have some of my team with me on this day. David, my videographer, comes to every gig and videos my keynote so that the client gets a professional recording to share. Charlie was on hand to take photos and capture the special moments of people connecting with me after the talk.
I occasionally offer a VIP invite to other speakers to come with me to an event. I love supporting those who are up and coming in the industry. Plus, it means my client gets an introduction to another great speaker for their next event.
I’ve delivered almost 3000 keynotes and every single time people come up to share their story with me. It’s an honour to have that kind of engagement with the audience after I have spoken.
